According to Hindu mythology, Brahmatal Lake is the place where Lord Brahma meditated many years ago. It is nestling in the depths of Uttarakhand Himalayas. The trek to the Brahmatal Lake takes you on an epic journey through never-ending ridge lines, high altitude lakes, all dense bugyal, snow-covered peaks, and awe-inspiring views. There are many treks which can’t be done in January and February. Brahmatal Trek that way is a classic winter trek for that period. Dayara Bugyal trek

Dayara bugyal is one such a rare beauty in the Himalayas of Garhwal near to the hub of Uttarkashi. It’s a wide lush green meadow with several humps surrounded by snow cladded peaks of Bandarpunch, Kalanag and other peaks of Gangotri range. It’s an all season trek, and in each season this trek is a beauty. The winter pours down heavy snowfall and puts a thick cover of snow on the Dayara bugyal, making it a snow ski destination. That makes Dayara bugyal not just a trekker’s delight, but also skiers. Dayara bugyal is also a super snow trek.
